About Her Impact AI
The research is clear. Women and men lead in remarkably similar ways. But they are not perceived that way — and that gap in perception drives real disparities in promotions, salaries, and influence.
That finding came out of years of research on leadership and gender. And as AI has reshaped the workplace, the same pattern is emerging in a new space. Women working in AI are technically fluent, strategically sharp, and doing the work. But the credibility gap follows them here too.
Her Impact AI exists to address that directly.
This is not a resource for learning AI. It is a space for women who are already in it — and who want to go further. The conversations here are about the skills, strategies, and perspectives that help women working in AI build visibility, establish authority, and advance in spaces that were not always built for them.
This is for you if
You work in AI and have the expertise to prove it.
You have felt the gap between what you know and how you are perceived.
You want to be part of advancing women in this space, not just navigating it.

Kristen Santos
Head of Commercial Solutions, OneMagnify | DBA, UNC Charlotte
Kristen leads AI-native solutioning for major automotive brands at OneMagnify. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration from UNC Charlotte, where her dissertation on Gender and Leadership examined how similar leader behaviors in men and women are perceived differently, driving measurable disparities in career outcomes.
That research did not stay academic. Kristen has seen the same dynamics play out in real time as AI has become central to the work — and built Her Impact AI to create the resource she wished had existed.
